Choosing a product
How do I choose between these products?
Start with the roof, then the room underneath. A pitched slope, a flat deck and a dark internal space each point towards a different product.
Look up at the ceiling you want to light, then think about what sits above it. A pitched slope with a loft room below suits a roof window, which opens into the space and gives a view out. A flat roof over a kitchen extension suits a flat roof rooflight, or a lantern if you want height and a sense of volume.
A landing or bathroom with no outside wall and a long run of roof above it often calls for a sun tunnel instead of a full window. Whatever you lean towards, tell us the house type as well: a Tyneside flat, a terrace and a new-build semi can each take the same product by a different route.
